We trace our roots back to a company called Biotherm Engineering
Founded in 1980, Biotherm Engineering was the innovator of the “bench-top” or “tube-heat” systems.
What we now refer to as “BioTherm heating”.
We now offer familiar products like Starfin, Duofin, MegaTube, and HDX.

In the Spring of 1999, we held
a strategy retreat and decided that
we had grown beyond the “little
heat tube” company that we were
still closely identified with, even
10 years after beginning substantial
diversification of our product line.
We decided that we would be best able
to serve the market in the new millenium
with a new name and a new mission.
We decided to call the company TrueLeaf
Technologies, adopted from the term
describing the first leaf of a new
plant and have toiled to create “Precision
Environment Systems” for horticulture
since then.

of our company has been on making all
these diverse systems work together in
an integrated way
In 2000 we entered the "Flood Floor" business and have designed
and sold over 80% of all Flood Floors in the U.S.

Now, as we proceed with a well rounded and complete set of products and
experts on staff, we want to help you as a grower do the best job possible
using your precious resources. Especially with water, fuel, and energy
becoming more expensive and more important to manage. Through unique and
innovative heating systems, flood floors and more, integrated computer
control systems, and water management products engineered specifically
for each application, we can improve the bottom line of any operation.
