Lennox had the brains, beauty
and brawn) for our job. Donahue, known far and wide for
its Clematis, is also
a full spectrum seller of plants in a market which extends
in a 60 mile radius from its Faribault store in south
central Minnesota.
Having read up on the market research
showing the longer people are in your store, and the
more pleasant that experience is for them, the more they
will
buy, the new retail center was designed to be pleasing
to clients. It has spacious aisle places for folks to
sit, plants placed at “easy reaching” height,
offers corollary products to the plants, and contains
the TrueLeaf supplied Lennox heaters.
Donahue had been a solid supporter
of the “other
brand” for many years.
Recently they had noticed
that the old units were having many more problems

than expected and that replacing heat exchangers seemed
to be a constant source of annoyance and expense.
Having first replaced an old unit in the greenhouse
over a year ago with a Lennox unit, when it came time
for the design of the retail garden center, Donahue’s
easily made the decision to use the Lennox heaters there
also.

What they found was the units are
much quieter than the other units and that they have run
with only routine maintenance.
There are 14 Lennox
units in the 25,000 sq. foot garden center and as the old units currently
running in the greenhouse act up in any way they are being
replaced by the Lennox units.
